P.S. I Still Love You

- Jenny Han

GOODREADS BOOK BLURB:

Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.

They were just pretending. Until they weren’t. And now Lara Jean has to learn what it’s like to be in a real relationship and not just a make-believe one.

But when another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him suddenly return too.

Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?

MY REVIEW:

average:
3/5

Definitely a step up from the first book. A little more drama, a few more complications, a little more believable. I wish there was a little more Margot and Josh; they seemed relegated to the background this time.

I think it helped Lara Jean had a bit more of a life this time around. It made her a more interesting character, although my favourite character in this book was definitely John. He seemed a more mature and complex character than most of the others in this series.

Not gonna lie, I’m a bit upset she picked Peter over John. John was much more dreamy and romantic and less self-involved. The ending was a little self-revisionist with Lara Jean blaming herself for getting hung up on Gen when it was clearly Peter keeping her in the dark and following his ex around like an obsessed person. John was clearly the better pick here.

I actually have no idea what’s coming in the third book of this trilogy, so I guess I’ve got to keep reading!
