MY REVIEW:

enjoyable/easy to read:
3.5/5

This book had me from the second page:

when i had
no friends
i reached inside
my beloved
books
& sculpted some
out of
12 pt
times new roman.

- & it was almost good enough.

Tough subjects tackled with prose. Yeah, I’ve seen the bitter tumblr-related reviews and yeah, I get it. The author is a little too fond of hitting enter and it might not be ‘highbrow’ enough for all the poetry snobs out there but I enjoyed it. My inner emo kid appreciated the little throwback feeling this collection of poems inspired.
